Our Story
Wertek AI was founded by engineers who spent years in industrial automation and manufacturing. We saw firsthand what unplanned downtime, failing motors and drives, and blind spots on the plant floor really cost — and how the critical knowledge about each asset lived in people's heads instead of a system.
We also saw the disconnect between cutting-edge AI capabilities and practical industrial applications. Many industrial AI tools were impressive in theory but failed in real-world conditions—too complex, too disconnected from existing systems, or solving the wrong problems.
We started Wertek AI to change that. We focus on the unglamorous but high-impact problem of asset reliability: give every industrial asset a digital identity, catch failures before they happen using physics and engineering standards — not black-box guesses — and turn that into the exact maintenance action. Less unplanned downtime, longer asset life.
